* **Contact Information:** Your email address, collected when you initiate a tasting session.
* **Tasting Activity:** Data regarding your tasting sessions, including the venue visited, timestamps, and active guest tokens.
* **Reviews & Feedback:** Ratings (0-5 stars) and text comments you submit for specific products (e.g., wine, beer, spirits).
* **Device & Session Data:** We use browser Local Storage and session tokens to temporarily recognize your device during a tasting session. This is strictly functional and required for the platform to operate.
**For Venues (Businesses & Staff):**
* **Account Information:** Name, email address, and authentication credentials for venue administrators and staff.
* **Business Details:** Venue name, location, contact details, and platform customization preferences.
* **Financial Data:** Subscription tier selections and payment history. All payment processing is handled securely by our third-party provider (Stripe); we do not store full credit card details.
* **Analytics Data:** Aggregated event data regarding platform usage at your venue.
## 2. How We Use Your Information
**For Tasters:**
* To verify your identity for the duration of your tasting session.
* To attribute your reviews and ratings to the correct products and venues.
* To maintain a historical record of your reviews for your personal reference and venue analytics.
**For Venues:**
* To provide, maintain, and improve our services, including hosting your digital tasting lists.
* To process your subscription payments and generate invoices.
* To provide analytics and insights based on Taster interactions at your location.
## 3. How We Share Your Information
* **Tasters to Venues:** When you submit an email, rating, or review, this data is shared directly with the specific Venue where the tasting occurred. **Please note:** Once your information is shared with the Venue, their own privacy policies and marketing practices apply to any use of your contact information outside of our platform.
* **Service Providers:** We share data with trusted third-party services required to operate our platform (e.g., secure cloud hosting, and payment processing).
* **Legal Requirements:** We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
## 4. Data Retention
* **Tasters:** Your email and review data are retained to preserve the integrity of venue analytics, unless you request deletion.
* **Venues:** We retain your account and product data for the duration of your active subscription. If a venue account is deactivated, data will be archived or permanently removed according to our internal data retention schedule.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data.
* **Tasters:** You may contact us to request the removal of your email and associated reviews from our systems.
* **Venues:** You can manage your data directly through your administrator dashboard.
